Abstract
This thesis examines China’s history of healthcare as well its current healthcare system. Drawing from China’s “Healthy China 2030” plan, this thesis examines where China’s healthcare system will go in the next ten years as well as suggests a few things to consider based on other countries’ systems. Things that are mentioned include: China’s free-trade zones, the role of the private health insurance market, the electronic health record, and preventative medicine.
