Abstract
The main piece of this portfolio is a blog about food and place. Of places, I write two: Lewiston, Maine, where I attend college as an Environmental Studies and French & Francophone Studies double major; and the Philippines, where I spent most of my childhood. Of food, I write multitudes—from its cultural value to its memories to its role as a community’s lifeblood and its source of pride. The goal of my project is to use food to track and build my own sense to place, as it relates to the connection I have to my two homes.
