Abstract
This thesis analyzes the Case Study Houses of Southern California. The Case Study House Program was launched after the Second World War, and was intended to provide prototypical models for post-war affordable living. I examine their elements of design and explain why they are good examples for current sustainable architecture. Advisor: Ned Harwood (AVC Department)
