Abstract
This capstone project explores Congress' role in environmental politics today. In this project, I advocate for a form of pork-barrel politics to encourage local participation and engagement with federal legislative policy. Using interviews, academic literature, and news issues, I build a case for a new type of environmental politics and legislation.
