Abstract
How does one's gender impact their experience of the outdoors? For this journalistic thesis, I interviewed a variety of women of different ages, races, and geographical locations, to collect stories of their gender-based experiences of outdoor spaces. These runners, rock climbers, hikers, and skiers shared stories of things that had been said or done to them while in the outdoors.
