Abstract
Growing policy across the nation concerning the chemical group PFAS, is bound to impact the Outdoor Industry soon. Wait..What! with Kate Loughlin explores what PFAS are, how they are connected to waterproofed materials, and predicts the future of waterproofed gear within the outdoor industry. Interviews with policy makers and professionals within the industry, in combination with research and learning culminate into a 30 minute audio experience on the potential future of waterproofed gear design and chemistry.
