Abstract
Climate change is a phenomenon that will affect the lives of everyone in some capacity, yet the way an individual or community is impacted will vary greatly. As global climate systems are disrupted due to warming temperatures and resources become increasingly scarce, populations around the globe will face the difficult decision to either attempt to adapt to a new normal or to relocate to more areas of the world. This thesis will attempt to investigate the various cultural narratives surrounding climate refugees in an effort to paint a picture of what a climate refugee looks like.
