Abstract
My project focused on the spread of an invasive species in Maine freshwater ways known as Eurasian WaterMilfoil. This singular species of milfoil threatens to indefinitely alter alter all of Maine's fresh water bodies in the coming years. As a result Mainers must prepare themselves to face this new reality. My project explores Eurasian WaterMilfoil, its various economic, social and ecological impacts, and how Mainers can best prepare themselves to push back against the spread of this species.
