This sub-series contains 115 quarter-inch reel-to-reel audio tapes of lectures and performances by Glazer. Only 65 items have been definitively dated at the time of this writing. These items are listed chronologically, with undated items are at the end of the dated items. Dating these items is ongoing.
Many of the earliest recordings are from programs that aired on WTMJ television, in Milwaukee. Reels with programs such as "Adventures in Music," "Adults Only," and "Playhouse 15" were likely recorded onto audio tapes either by the studio, or by Glazer. Unfortunately, the Archives does not have the video of these performances. The program "Playhouse 15" features prominently here, and was sponsored by Adelman Laundry, a successful local/regional business.
Most of these recordings have been digitized, and are made available here, with exceptions. Where identified, recordings from studio albums (or portions of or edited cuts from) have been omitted. In addition, several tapes were of low quality or indeterminate content, and were also omitted. Please contact Archives staff with any questions.
