Lydia M. (1818-1897) and Ellen M. Harris (1830-1898) were sisters of George W. Harris, and later in life they all three lived together in West Roxbury, Massachusetts. The thirty-five scores in this volume date from 1819 to 1857, with the bulk of the items dating between 1830 and 1848. Some of the scores contain autographs, with one being a presentation inscription to both sisters.
