Abstract
Senator Edmund S. Muskie (D.-Maine), an outspoken supporter of the Equal Rights Amendment, declared today, November 24, that the Supreme Court decision striking down an Idaho law which discriminated against women has not provided a satisfactory alternative to passage of the Amendment.
