Senator Edmund S. Muskie (D Maine) today called for an Environmental Revolution to achieve "the only strategy that makes sense . . . a total strategy to protect the total environment." Speaking at the University of Pennsylvania's Earth Day ceremonies in Philadelphia, the Senator called for "the power of the people to turn the nation around to move toward a whole society."
